1. The “Notice” (Why we collect your data)

In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023, we only collect data that is necessary for your mission.

● To Verify the Grid: We collect KYC and business documents from Agents and Vendors to ensure “Zero Jugaad” on the platform.
● To Navigate the Trail: We use real-time GPS telemetry from your caravan or mobile device to provide safety monitoring and SOS support.

2. The Data We Collect (The Digital Gear)

We categorize your information into three “Hardware Tiers”:
● Tier 1: Identity Data: Name, contact details, and Government IDs (for verification).
● Tier 2: Telemetry & Technical Data: IP addresses, device IDs, and real-time GPS coordinates during an active trip.
● Tier 3: Expedition Data: Your trip reviews, “Grit” and “Grid” scores, and field photos uploaded during debriefs.

3. Consent: Your Handshake with the Grid

Your consent is the “Green Light” for our engines.
● Specific & Informed: By clicking “I Accept” or using our services, you provide clear, unconditional consent for us to process your data for the purposes stated above.
● Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Note: Withdrawing consent is like cutting the winch cable—we may no longer be able to pull you through the booking or safety tracking process.

4. Your Rights as a “Data Principal”

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you are the Mission Commander of your data. You have the right to:
● Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
● Right to Correction: Update any “outdated telemetry” (inaccurate info) in our system.
● Right to Erasure: Request that we “wipe the trail” and delete your data once the mission is complete and legal obligations are met.

5.Data Storage & Retention (The Trail’s End)

● We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the mission (e.g., the duration of your partnership).
● Once the purpose is served, or you withdraw consent, we securely archive or delete the data.

6. Shielding the Data (Security)

Your data is stored on secure servers with restricted access, monitored by our technical team to prevent unauthorized breaches.

7. In-Person Interactions & Field Audits

During physical inspections, our Field Audit Executives may capture photos of your assets (vehicles/campsites). This data is used exclusively for the Master Content Library and verification scores. No private or unrelated “off-grid” information will be captured.

8. Basecamp Contact (Grievance Redressal)

If you have questions about your data or wish to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act, contact our Grievance Officer:

By continuing your journey on the Grid, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this protocol. Let’s keep the trail safe.
